The difference between tort and quasi-contract is given in the below table;

Generally in Tort, the duty is imposed on all people and not imposed on a single individual. |
In Quasi Contract, the duty is imposed on a definite person who has to gain wrongful benefits. |
The damages are not fixed in the law of torts |
In the quasi-contract, the damages are fixed and specified by the court itself. |
The tort gives a right to damages and also other remedies. |
The quasi-contract gives a right only with respect to money and it is a liquidated sum of money. |
In the Tort, there is a choice for an injured person not to bring an action for damages. |
In Quasi-contract, suing the wrongdoer to recover the value of the benefit obtained by the wrongdoer. |
